First Paths, Incorporated, (FPI) is a 501(c)(3), private, non-profit, organization founded in 2001 by Ora M. Dabney, and her daughter, Patricia A. Williams. The organization is a family business driven by its’ founder’s desire and passion for helping others. Initially, First Paths existed as a sub-contractor through the Mentor Services Network, which is a larger organization but, Ms. Ora had a larger vision. With her heart set on expansion, and a dream of running her own organization; and of becoming a provider of choice, she applied with to the state of Georgia to become an independent provider.
The organization provides a full array of services and supports to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Our programs include but are not limited to Residential Support, One-on-One Community Integration Supports, and Day Program Services. The organization is staffed with a caring contingent of with competent personnel including the Director of Services, Administrator, Consultants, Behavioral Specialists, Registered Nurses?, and Direct Support Staff who are responsible for the day-to-day care of the individuals.
Our programs provide the services and tools necessary for our individuals to be successful. In addition, the staff of First Paths, Inc. offers an enhanced, person centered environment.
